The "Yulong" engine is China's first independently developed advanced medium thermodynamic cycle parameter turboshaft engine with complete independent intellectual property rights. It represents a fundamental shift in turboshaft engine development towards independent R&D and a leap in turboshaft engine technology level from the first to the third generation.
