Coating team has been devoted to the research on development of aircraft coatings, properties testing & evaluation , the matching technology and etc, and has become the characteristic aeronautical coatings research and testing evaluation center, which takes leading in technology in domestic aviation industry. It can provide professional out-field technological services: coating replacement, repair and the application of coating on the components and etc. The team owns the testing equipments for the comprehensive properties of coating and has passed Bombardier independent laboratory accreditation, and can carry out the testing and evaluation of physical and chemical properties, medium resistance, environmental resistance in accordance with ASTM and MIL standards. The three main research directions are: solvent based coating, high solid coating and water-based coating.
